Hi, I have been taking Finasteride for about a year now for the first time for a new hair problem, I am 50 yrs old and I am just starting to get used to it. I have been taking it for about 4 months now and I just recently started taking Propecia, it is one of my best friends and he is a very good man and I have been using Propecia for the past year now for hair loss but my hair feels a bit thin, it is not as thin as before, and it is not as strong as it used to be before it started taking it but at least it has helped. I also noticed that my hair has been looking a little healthier now that I am off it and my hair looks much thicker. I am still on finasteride and I don't see anything wrong with it but I can see that my hair is still getting thicker. It is very frustrating and I have no answers on how it can be that it is not the cause of thinning. I will let you know how it goes. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
